Big fine for three financial institutions.
The Central Bank of Sri Lanka’s Intelligence Unit has imposed a fine of 140 lakh rupees on three financial institutions that did not comply with the Financial Transactions Reporting Act.
People’s Bank, BOC is among them.
The amount of fine thus obtained has been credited to the consolidated fund of the government.
