Veteran actor announcer Alfred Perera passes away
Veteran actor and radio announcer Alfred Perera passed away this afternoon (Nov.20). It was at his house in Dalugama.
Alfred Perera was also the founder and founding announcer of the very popular radio program Vinho Samaya. He worked as a radio news anchor as well as an interpreter in the Parliament of Sri Lanka for a long time.
