Budget 2023 of Sr Lanka
The president announced that through the 2023 budget proposals, the process of building a new economy fit for the modern world will begin.
In the Third reading of the appropriation (2023), a bill was passed by the House (08), which brought an end to the committee Stage debate. A division was taken and 123 votes were cast in favor of the bill while 80 votes were cast against it.
