Brian Thomas’s mobile phone seized: Dinesh Schaffetr murder
The Criminal Investigation Department says statements were recorded from around 20 people regarding the murder of respected Colombo-based businessman Dinesh Schaffter.
Police said statements were also recorded from former cricket commentator Brian Thomas, while his mobile phone was seized. Colombo Additional Magistrate Harshana Kekunawada on Friday Imposed an overseas travel ban on Thomas over the murder of Dinesh Schaffter.
