Former President visited to Gangaramaya Temple

The Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa went to GangaramayaTemple on 05 February. He visited with his family for the Navam Perahara festival.

And also our President Ranil Wickremesinghe addressed the country’s growth. He said ‘Nawam Maha Perahara’ is a blessing and auspicious sign for the country.

The Colombo Navam Perahara is held in conjunction with the 75th anniversary of Sri Lanka’s independence. This Navam Perahera and the Gangaramaya Temple are linked to the country’s freedom movement. It is worth noting that Venerable Hikkaduwe Sri Sumangala Nayaka Thera founded the Gangaramaya Temple.
