Warehouse Destroyed by Fire : Balapitya Base Hospital
Stocks of medicines were reportedly destroyed after a fire broke out at the Balapitya base Hospital last evening. (Feb 21)
Accordingly hospital staff informed the Ambalangoda Police Station at around 5.30 p.m last evening
She gave the statement about the fire “There was the smoke of clouds were seen in the warehouse in which medicines are stored”.
The Galle fire Brigade had arrived to assist in extinguishing the flames.
