A Police Inspector Arrested

Aluthgama police said that a chief inspector of police was arrested on the charge of molesting a young woman in a bus traveling toward Ambalangoda.

He is a 54-year-old Chief Inspector of Police who is in charge of various complaints units and belongs to a police station under the Kalutara Police Division.

It is to be noted that the said police inspector who was standing near a trainee nurse behaved in an indecent manner and after this, the passengers on the said bus got angry and attacked the inspector and handed him over to the police
