Specified government hospitals will instruct private medical students in clinical medicine

The appointment of a commission to elect public hospitals for use as tutoring hospitals where medical scholars can admit clinical training has been made by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
As a result, the President’s Media Division( PMD) stated, medical scholars, enrolled at the Kotelawala Defence University( KDU), Dr Neville Fernando Hospital, Lyceum Campus, and other universities in Colombo, Kalutara, Gampaha, Kurunegala, and Polonnaruwa will admit clinical training at specific government hospitals without snooping with the education of scholars at state universities.
The PMD reports that Dr Seetha Arambepola, state minister of health, will serve as the commission’s speaker.
The Committee will be responsible for studying, reviewing and relating suitable government hospitals to give clinical training for Medical scholars enrolled at the KDU, Dr Neville Fernando Hospital, Lyceum Campus and other universities in Colombo, Kalutara, Gampaha, Kurunegala and Polonnaruwa. It’ll also make recommendations for the necessary developments to upgrade the hospitals linked for the provision of similar training and submit a report within eight weeks.
