In a recent discussion held at the Presidential Secretariat with the heads of media organizations, President Ranil Wickremesinghe announced that Sri Lanka is set to pass the best anti-Corruption Act in South Asia soon. The President revealed that the Bill has already received cabinet approval and will be presented to Parliament after discussions with Opposition representatives.

During the same discussion, President Wickremesinghe emphasized the importance of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Credit Facility for the future of Sri Lanka’s economy.
