Athavan’s Tamil FM expands and rebrands

Athavan’s Tamil FM, previously known as Tamil FM and owned by Ben Holdings, has announced a name change and expansion of their broadcasting activities. The new name, Athavan’s Tamil FM, will now be used for the radio station. Additionally, the radio station has expanded its broadcasting to Kandy through Hanthana transmission.

Listeners in various parts of the island can now tune in to Athavan’s Tamil FM on 99.5 MHz and 99.7 MHz frequencies through six transmissions, including Colombo, Hanthana, Jaffna, Mannar, Cocaville, and Piduruthalagala. This expansion of their broadcasting activities is sure to bring their Tamil language programming to an even wider audience across Sri Lanka.
