G7 Leaders Meet in Hiroshima, Agree on New Sanctions Against Russia’s War Machine

In a significant development, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is rumoured to be attending the G7 summit this Sunday, according to a Ukrainian official. President Zelensky’s physical presence at the summit is deemed crucial to defend Ukraine’s interests amid the ongoing crisis.

Prior to his expected participation in the G7 summit, President Zelensky has arrived in Saudi Arabia, where he will first attend the Arab League summit. Ukrainian official Oleksiy Danilov emphasized the importance of President Zelensky’s presence, stating that it is vital for safeguarding the nation’s interests.

The G7, composed of the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, and Japan, has extended invitations to eight other nations to participate in this year’s summit.
