Sri Lanka Railways Introduces Special Trains for Poson Festival Pilgrims to Anuradhapura

Sri Lanka Railways has announced special train journeys for Buddhist devotees travelling to Anuradhapura during the upcoming Poson Festival. From June 2 to June 6, special trains will operate between Beliatta and Anuradhapura.

The schedule includes trains departing from Colombo Fort and Galle on June 2, trains departing from Colombo Fort and Beliatta on June 3, and a train departing from Colombo Fort on June 4. Return trains from Anuradhapura to Colombo Fort, Galle, and Beliatta are also scheduled for June 3 and June 4. Additionally, a train will depart from Anuradhapura to Colombo Fort on June 5. These special train services aim to facilitate the travel of Buddhist devotees during the Poson Festival.
