The Dambulla Stadium, which is a unique milestone in the “National Cricket Development Path” program, which aims to provide equal opportunities to talented Sri Lankan cricketers, was opened.
It was chaired by President Ranil Wickramasinghe. The facility is well-equipped with a hydrotherapy unit and a state-of-the-art medical center dedicated to the rehabilitation of sports injuries, actively participating in its monitoring activities, a new international-class swimming pool, indoor net and training facility, a new media center and grandstand at the Rangiri Dambulla Stadium. The foundation stone was laid to redevelop the stand.
The President also inaugurated the stadium’s latest LED lighting system.
