The Department of Meteorology announced today that an increase in rain and wind conditions is expected due to the developing pre-monsoon weather features over Sri Lanka and surrounding sea areas.
People are also requested to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
