Starlink internet is now open for pre-order in Sri Lanka,

Elon Musk’s Starlink Internet is now open for pre-order in Sri Lanka, with the public able to reserve Starlink by paying a fully refundable USD 9 deposit.

Starlink’s Internet constellation is one of the greatest achievements in commercial satellite history. It brings broadband-capable speeds and performance using a new configuration of small satellites that act as a constellation while orbiting the Earth much lower than conventional satellites.

Starlink aims to commence service in Sri Lanka in 2024, pending regulatory approval. Orders will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis within each coverage area.
