A new fertilizer plant from Lankem Ceylon

Lankem Ceylon PLC, one of Sri Lanka’s leading conglomerates, has announced plans to set up a new fertilizer factory in Oyamaduwa, Anuradhapura. Lankem Ceylon Plc has incorporated its wholly owned subsidiary Lankem Mineral Limited on 31 October 2023 for this project. For the initial phase of the project, capital and initial working capital requirements of Rs. An investment of 2.5 billion is estimated. The primary objective of this project is to meet the agricultural needs especially for non-perennial crops.
