More than 550 Hajj pilgrims die due to extreme heat
At least 550 pilgrims have died during the Hajj, underscoring the harsh nature of the pilgrimage, which has unfolded again in this year’s hot temperatures.
At least 323 of the dead were Egyptians, most of them suffering from heat-related illnesses, and the two Arab diplomats are coordinating their countries.
