Melwa is ready to buy Hilton
divestiture of the shares held by GoSL in Hotel Developers (Lanka) Ltd. the owning company of the Colombo Hilton.
Out of the 9 bidders, 4 bidders were selected, after which financial proposals were invited from them. Two other bidders have left the process. At that time, only one of the two pre-qualified bidders has submitted a proposal.
Accordingly, Melwa Hotels and Resorts Private Limited submitted the proposal.
