2024 parliamentary elections on November 14
Today, the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka rejected the petition challenging the National Election Commission’s decision to hold the 2024 parliamentary elections on November 14.
The petition was filed asking the court to issue an order stating that the Election Commission’s decision to hold the general election on November 14 is a violation of the Constitution. Today the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka dismissed the petition without consideration.
