World’s first wooden satellite into space
The world’s first wooden satellite made in Japan has recently been launched from the Kennedy Space Center in America. This space travel can be called preliminary research on the use of wood for the exploration of the Moon and Mars. A group of scientists from Japan’s Kyoto University and a Japanese wood products company had jointly created this satellite. It is named after ‘lignosat’ which means wood in Latin. The Lignosat satellite will remain in Earth’s orbit for 6 months. Every 45 minutes, the temperature of space changes from minus 100 to 100 degrees Celsius.
