In a statement broadcast on Monday by Houthi-run Al-Masira TV, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Zaria said the first strike targeted a military target in the Ashkelon region. At the same time, the other hit a military target in Tel Aviv.

“These operations will not stop until the Israeli aggression on Gaza stops and the siege is lifted,” he added.

After the drone attack, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a warning saying, “We will hit the Houthis hard, target their strategic infrastructure, and decapitate their leaders.”
