A fire in a wood mill in Pannipitiya
In Pannipitiya, Liangoda area,A fire in a wood mill has destroyed the sawmill.
The fire broke out at around 2.30 am today (22) and the fire was brought under control by local residents three fire engines of the Kotte Municipality and water cannons of the Dehiwala Municipality.
An electrical fault is suspected to have caused the fire. No casualties were reported and property was severely damaged.
