A powerful 5.8 magnitude earthquake in Japan
An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 on the Richter scale occurred in Fukushima, Japan.
The Japan Meteorological Agency said the quake occurred 50 kilometres inland off the coast of Fukushima Prefecture.
The agency also says that no tsunami warning has been issued and no information about the damage has been reported so far.
