Further train delays on the coastal route

The railway department says there may be some delay in the running of trains on the coastal route today (30) and tomorrow (31).
The department mentioned that the train running between Wellawatta and Fort was limited to one train line due to this.
This situation has arisen due to maintenance work carried out by the Urban Development Authority on a pipeline between Wellawatta and Bambalapitiya railway stations.
The Railway Department stated that 25 train journeys on the coastal route will be cancelled today due to this.
