43 people have lost their lives in a fire that broke out in a seven-storey building called ‘Bailey Road’ in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Another 40 people were hospitalized due to smoke inhalation and burns.
The local media reports that the building that caught fire houses clothing stores and mobile phone stores, and the biryani restaurant in the building is extremely popular among the people of that area.
According to the country’s fire brigade, the fire originated from this restaurant.
