Veteran journalist and actress Mrs. Ramya Vanigasekara passed away.
Mrs. Ramya Vanigasekara, a veteran journalist and actor, passed away.
She has also worked as a Sri Lankan Radio Corporation announcer, news reporter as well as a voice artist for over thirty years.
‘Kelani palama’, who was famous for stage drama, she has contributed her acting to radio drama, tele drama as well as film acting. She was undergoing treatment at Colombo National Hospital last season. She was 73 years old when she died. The body is currently in a private flower hall in Borella. The funeral of the body will be held on Sunday (11) afternoon at Borella Cemetery.
